VelvetCore's media library brings together every image and file stored across the system into a single, searchable interface. No more hunting through multiple screens to find an asset.
Unified Asset View
The media library aggregates files from six sources across the system:
- Uploaded media — files uploaded directly via the media manager
- Staff gallery photos — profile and gallery images from staff records
- Venue gallery photos — location and venue images
- Employee documents — licences, permits, and certificates stored in staff profiles
- Staff profile photos — the main photo field from each employee record
- Branding assets — your logo, favicon, and hero image from site settings
Upload & Organise
Upload new files directly from the media manager. Files are saved to categorised storage directories and tracked in the database. Use the media picker in the Website Builder and other modules to select from your library without leaving the current screen.
Orphan Detection
The media library automatically scans your upload directories and flags files that exist on disk but are not tracked in any database table. These orphaned files are listed separately and can be reviewed and deleted individually, keeping your storage clean and predictable.
Delete with Confidence
Delete any file from a single interface. The system handles both regular tracked files (removes DB record and file) and orphaned files (removes file from disk). Access controls ensure only authorised users can delete assets.
Social Media Image Integration
Roster images generated by the Social Media image generator are automatically saved to the media library, making them immediately available for sharing or use on your website.
